Last Friday, I was invited to see A B & The Sea, a little un-signed band from Wisconsin, play at Hotel Utah. I got an email from their friend Rick and checked out their MySpace page. For a young band (all under 19 years old!) they've got a great pop sound and a little Vampire Weekend does Paul Simon plus Beach Boys thing going on.

Check out this video from the show. I didn't catch the name of the song... anyone know it?

Hello! As you might know, the Pownce team is now working at Six Apart.

This week I'm working on a tool to import all of your Pownce notes into Vox with pictures and other media included. So yes, my Vox blog should get more interesting.

I'm pretty sad about Pownce shutting down. I'm not so sad about the technology or the code, but about more about the people. The Pownce community meant a lot to me and I'll really miss everyone. I'm hoping some of you, my Pownce friends, will join my Vox neighborhood or add me as a friend elsewhere.

Anyways, I'll just leave you with this song by one of my favorite bands, The Bird and the Bee.
