I always HATED Notting Hill because I never really sympathized with the lead female character of Anna Scott. Who really feels bad for movie stars? Then I happened to catch Notting Hill on the TV the other day and it made me cry. Seriously, WTF happened?

The funny thing about being just a little famous is that you go a little crazy and maybe drink a bit too much. Then you start to feel a little bit bad for the truly famous people. And when they do crazy stuff it makes a lot more sense.

The nice folks at EMI sent me a couple of CDs the other day (thanks!) including the new Lily Allen single which I find quite appropriate here.

I've included the video because it's so awesomely bizarre. Is it supposed to be like she's going from a twee trailer to a manor with servants and cupcakes and dancing gifts? I hope Lily Allen decided to keep being a "weapon of massive consumption" because her videos and Wikipedia page are only getting more awesome.

I find the stuff on rathergood.com to be not just "rather good", but the funniest stuff EVER. For some reason, I find badly animated animals singing dirty words hilarious.
